Ayant une formation en art, Samuel Roy-Bois est un artiste qui a présenté ses oeuvres partout au Canada et à plusieurs occasions à l’international.  Comportant une sensibilité particulière à la déconstruction des espaces, il se spécialise dans l’installation. Questionnant et redéfinissant les limites entre l’art et l’installation architecturale, il s’intéresse au rôle joué par l’architecture et l’environnement bâti. Il est également assistant professeur à la UBC, où il enseigne la sculpture et l’art en trois dimensions.

Having a formation in art, Samuel Roy-Bois is an artist who has presented his works throughout Canada and internationally on several occasions. With a particular sensitivity to the deconstruction of spaces, he specializes himself in installation. Questioning and redefining the limits between arts and architectural installations, he is interested in the role played by the architecture and the built environment. He is also a professor at UBC, where he teaches sculpture and three-dimensional arts.
