Portant à la fois le chapeau d’artiste plasticien et d’architecte, Richard Cloutier a un parcours académique atypique qui oscille entre les deux domaines. Il détient une vision riche et singulière des enjeux sur l’art et l’architecture. Se concentrant davantage sur sa carrière d’artiste depuis des années, il utilise le trait pour réaliser des architectures picturales porteuses d’émotions spatiales. Il est également chargé de cours à l’École d’architecture de l’Université Laval où il peut ainsi partager aux étudiants sa vision concernant la rencontre entre l’art et l’architecture.

Wearing both the hat of architect and artist, Richard Cloutier has an atypical academic background oscillating between both domains. Therefore, he possesses a rich and unique vision on the issues about the relation between art and architecture. Focusing on his artistic career for years now, he uses the line to create pictural architectures carrying spatial emotions. He is lecturer at the School of architecture at Laval University, where he is able to share his vision of the meeting between art and architecture to his students.
