Ayant une formation en art, plus spécifiquement en sculpture, Jean-Pierre Morin est un artiste et professeur qui a reçu divers prix pour ses oeuvres. Celles-ci ont été exposées dans de nombreuses expositions en Amérique du Nord ainsi qu’en Europe. Ayant une production impressionnante et variée en art public, dont une vingtaine dans le cadre du programme d’intégration des arts à l’architecture, il soutient que l’art public est témoin d’une époque et est témoignage d’un lieu. Il travaille la forme et la matière afin que ses oeuvres s’intègrent dans leur contexte en évolution.

Having a formation in art, more specifically in sculpture, Jean-Pierre Morin is an artist and teacher who received various prizes for his works. They have been exposed in numerous exhibitions in North America and even in Europe. He has an impressive and varied production in public art and around twenty of them are within the program of integrating arts in architecture. He supports that public art is the witness of a time and the testimony of a place. With the primary goal to integrate his works to its evolving context, he works principally the conceptual shape and the matter.
