Jeune, dynamique et ludique, l’agence ADHOC est créée à Montréal en 2014 par deux architectes qui étaient au départ deux anciens collègues et amis lors de leur formation à l'Université Laval en architecture. Jean-François St-Onge, l'hyperactif de l’agence, a toujours soif de défi et de nouveaux projets.  Quant à François Martineau, plus posé, aime travailler minutieusement et consciencieusement sur les détails les plus fins. Avec deux personnalités très différentes, mais unies et complémentaires, ils explorent une nouvelle manière de concevoir l’architecture de façon innovante, contextuelle et poétique. Ils prônent une approche inclusive par laquelle les architectes sortent des « murs » et vont chercher le citoyen. Leurs approches respectives permettent une créativité débordante dans les projets qu’ils réalisent.

Young, dynamic and playful, ADHOC agency is created in Montreal in 2014 by two architects who were initially two former colleagues and friends during their formation at Laval University in architecture. Jean-François St-Onge, the hyperactive of the firm, is always thirsty for new challenges and projects. As for François Martineau, quieter, likes to work meticulously and conscientiously on the finest details. With two very different personalities, but united and complementary, they explore a new manner to design architecture in an innovative, contextual and poetic way. They advocate an inclusive approach in which they go outside the box and get the citizens. Their respective approaches allow an overflowing creativity in the projects they create.
